A traditional service, with a creative twist, of Holy Communion, washing of feet and Stripping the Altar. Includes hymns, prayers & reflection using light and darkness – we leave the church in silence (approx. 1 hour)
Friday 25th March – Good Friday
10.30am March of Witness from Sainsburys, Tadcaster
The traditional march through the town behind the cross, ending with a short service at the bottom of Kirkgate, followed by hot cross buns in the Sunday School
2pm An Hour at the Cross Tadcaster & Church Fenton
An hour of reflection on the last moments of Jesus’ life
Saturday 26th March – Easter Eve
8pm Benefice Easter Vigil Church Fenton
A quiet service when we remind ourselves of our Baptismal promises and carry the light of Christ into the church. Taize style music (approx. 30-40 mins)
Sunday 27th March - Easter Sunday
6.30am Sunrise Service Salvation Army church garden
Come along and celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus as the sun rises. Breakfast served afterwards in the Salvation Army Hall
