Saturday 7th October – St Andrew’s Church will be open between 10am and 2pm for visitors to come and see the floral displays and enjoy a welcoming cup of tea or coffee. There is to be a cake stall and the much enjoyed Hidden Treasures from last year. If you would like to bring any particular item that you dare to hope might be of value, Tom will cast his professional eye over it and guide you accordingly. National treasure or bric a brac – Tom will let you know. Tom can’t be with us for the whole time, so be sure to get in early to avoid disappointment!
Sunday 8th October – the Harvest Festival will take place at 10am with Simon Biddlestone leading the service. All friends and family are welcome to this service.
We would love to see the church full on both days and so, as usual, I am putting out a call for assistance:
- Any flowers or displays for the Church will be much appreciated. If you let me know I will direct offers to help to Jean and Vicki.
- Cakes, biscuits, buns, scones, bread, pies and puddings will be very welcome for the cake stall. Please let me know and I can collect on Friday or Saturday morning.
