Halloween is a time of year full of witches, bats, spiders and other far darker costumes and decorations, leaving many in a dilemma about whether to let their kids get involved. In response, Christians around the UK, rather than negatively reacting to what is seen as a festival, have been creatively producing alternatives to the usual celebrations.
With this in mind, The Lower Wharfe Ecumenical Youth Project would like to invite all 5-11 year olds to their "Superhero" fun-day and party. If you are looking for an alternative way for your kiddies to spend Halloween then bring them along. We will be celebrating some good things on an otherwise 'dark' day and having a great 'light' party to end the day off. Come dressed as your favourite superhero!
Friday 31st October 10am - 2pm in The Bridge, Westgate. Bring a pack up for lunch.
Then 5pm -6.30pm for the Light Party
