Children are welcomed at all our services, but the first and second Sundays of the month are special! The first Sunday is a service for all ages, with things for the children to be involved in, and now the second is Sunday Explorers...come along and find out more!
We are changing our provision for children during the morning services from this month. Sunday Explorers will happen on the second Sunday of each month (except for November when it will be the third Sunday!) All children/young people aged 3-14 years are welcome to come over to the Boys' Sunday School when the group leave from church for their own activities.

This coming weekend we will be celebrating Harvest across the Benefice.
On Saturday 6th October, St Andrew's, Newton Kyme will be open from 10am - 4pm with beautiful displays and flower arrangements. Refreshments will be served and there will be cakes & preserves sold. St Mary's church will also be open on Saturday for those who would like to have a look at the Harvest decorations. Coffee is served in the adjoining Boys' Sunday School from 10-11.30am. On Sunday 7th October, there will be a Harvest service at St Mary's at 10.30am. This is suitable for all ages, with traditional harvest hymns and the chance to bring fresh or tinned produce to bring to the altar. This will be distributed to local residents next week. The Harvest Family Service at Newton Kyme is at 11am on Sunday and will be a chance to try some Harvest activities. In the evening at S Mary's, starting at 6pm, there will be a traditional Harvest Evensong & Holy Communion service. You are welcome at any of these events. |
