Dr John Sentamu, Archbishop of York, spent a day visiting Tadcaster on Friday 16th March. He met with town councillors, churchwardens and staff of all the parishes in our Benefice, visited John Smith's brewery, the Swimming Pool, conducted a very special confirmation service, spent some time at Magnet's Social Club and then finished the evening with a Question & Answer Session in St Mary's Church.
Those who came to the evening were entertained beforehand by the Chamber Choir & Brass Group from Riverside Community Primary School.
